Partners with Four Industry Giants to Drive ESG and Build a Sustainable Future
Bangkok, Thailand – Asset Five Group Public Company Limited (A5) has announced its commitment to achieving carbon neutrality by 2050, setting an ambitious milestone of incorporating 80% sustainable materials into its developments by 2030. The company is actively driving its ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) initiatives through strategic partnerships with Krungthai Bank, Nippon Paint, GUNKUL, and ONNEX by SCG Smart Living, all of whom joined forces to unveil their policies at the “A Better Planet for Sustainable Living” event. This move reinforces A5’s dedication to developing luxury residential projects while balancing sustainability, with a goal to be included in the SET ESG Ratings or FTSE Russell by 2026-2027.
Mr. Supachoke Panchasarp, CEO of A5, a leader in luxury low-rise and high-rise real estate development, emphasized the importance of sustainability in business operations, recognizing it as a key driver for long-term stability. The company’s “A Better Planet for Sustainable Living” initiative aligns with its mission for sustainable growth, aiming to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 while incorporating 80% sustainable materials by 2030. A5 integrates ESG principles into every aspect of its business, creating luxury residences that balance sophisticated design, efficient resource use, and well-being-focused living spaces. Under the guiding principle of “Greatness Inspired by LOVE”, A5 aims to foster positive change within the real estate industry and deliver long-term value to society, the environment, and the planet.
To achieve these sustainability goals, A5 has partnered with Nippon Paint (Thailand), GUNKUL Engineering Public Company Limited, and SCG Living & Housing Solutions. These collaborations focus on implementing eco-friendly construction materials and technologies, including:
- Ultra-premium, high-quality exterior paints from Nippon Paint that reduce carbon emissions, reflect heat, and enhance indoor air quality for residents.
- Solar Rooftop installations by GUNKUL to generate clean energy for homes and communal areas.
- SCG ACTIVE AIR QUALITY systems to enhance indoor air quality by filtering PM2.5 pollutants.
- Transition Loan funding from Krungthai Bank to finance sustainable real estate projects.
“These strategic partnerships will strengthen A5’s commitment to creating truly luxurious and sustainable living environments. Every upcoming A5 project will feature eco-friendly materials, innovative sustainable solutions, and a seamless integration of green living principles. We will also continue our community engagement initiatives, such as A5 Run With Love and A5 Build a Room for Kids, to contribute to society and support environmental conservation,” said Mr. Supachoke.
Industry Leaders Endorse A5’s Sustainability Vision
Mr. Watchara Siriritthichai, General Manager of Nippon Paint (Thailand), emphasized the company’s customer-centric approach, aligning with A5’s sustainability goals. Nippon Paint provides ultra-premium paints that enhance both environmental and human health, including:
- Nippon Paint Weatherbond (exterior) with 5% heat reflection, reducing energy consumption.
- Nippon Paint AirCare (interior), a first-of-its-kind GREENGUARD GOLD-certified air-purifying paint that eliminates formaldehyde and bacteria.
These innovations reduce carbon emissions by 25,000 kg per project, equivalent to planting 2,600 trees, ensuring A5 residents receive the safest and most eco-friendly paint solutions
Ms. Naruchon Dhumrongpiyawut, CEO of GUNKUL Engineering, expressed her enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “We are honored to support A5 in delivering comprehensive solar rooftop solutions for its new projects.” This initiative aligns with GUNKUL’s vision of being a leading clean energy partner, offering sustainable and cost-effective energy solutions for homeowners. The solar energy generated will be equivalent to planting 2,510 trees per year, reducing 54,000 kg of CO₂ emissions. The installations are expected to be completed by late 2026.
Mr. Krirk Yimpornpipatpol, Smart Home Director at SCG Living & Housing Solutions, highlighted the shared vision between SCG and A5 in developing sustainable communities. SCG’s ONNEX by SCG Smart Living technology will enhance air quality within A5’s projects, starting with CINQ ROYAL The Eighteen Bangna KM.7, ensuring cleaner and healthier living environments.
Mr. Surathun Kongton, Chief Executive of Wholesale Banking at Krungthai Bank, reaffirmed the bank’s commitment to supporting sustainable business transitions. Krungthai Bank is providing Transition Loan financing to enable A5’s shift from conventional real estate development to eco-friendly and green-certified projects, in line with Thailand’s Net Zero Emission goals. “A5 has demonstrated a strong commitment to ESG principles, and we are proud to support their journey towards sustainability,” he said.
With this roadmap in place, A5 is poised to redefine luxury real estate by seamlessly integrating cutting-edge sustainability practices. As the company moves towards achieving carbon neutrality by 2050, it is setting a benchmark for the industry and contributing to a greener, more sustainable future.
